    This Technical Committee considers all aspects of computerized and telecommunication-based automation systems, providing services to remote equipment. This addresses systems integrating methods of remote control and cooperative communication for remote applications.

    The TC 3.2 “Computational Intelligence in Control” groups major methodologies including fuzzy, neural, linguistic, fuzzy-neural, evolutionary, and reinforcement learning approaches as related and applied to automatic control.

    The goal of the technical committee on Computers for Control is to coordinate and promote technical activities related to computer & control synergies. It focuses on new system architectures (Software- and Hardware) and model-based engineering methods for automation systems.
