Following recommendations by a dedicated task force and an unanimous vote by Council on July 19th 2025, the General Assembly voted in December 2025 on a modification of the IFAC By-Laws. The modification consisted in adding a section names “AFFILIATES” and threes articles (No.22, No.23, No.24). The added section officialises the hierarchy between IFAC Affiliates (any person interested in IFAC activities) and TC Members who are selected, active Affiliates. It adds to this existing hierarchy a higher level of TC Senior Members. Starting from triennium 2026-2029, TC Membership and Senior Membership shall be valued and recognized with more emphasis. By this, IFAC encourages more volunteer involvement.
