What do the Secretariat do?
Since IFAC’s foundation in 1957, Düsseldorf was the Seat of the Secretariat of IFAC until 1975. After that the Secretariat was temporarily shifted to Helsinki, Finland.

IFAC’s Finances
IFAC’s revenue is used for administrative expenses. Its recommendations are approved by the Council which is held accountable by the General Assembly for the expenses.
