24th IFAC World Congress

The Dutch Institute of Systems and Control (DISC), the Dutch National Member Organization (NMO) of IFAC, is honoured to host the 24th IFAC World Congress, taking place from 8–13 July 2029 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

We warmly welcome scientists, engineers, researchers, students and industry professionals from around the world to Amsterdam. The Congress will bring together the international systems and control community to present the latest scientific advances, exchange ideas, and strengthen collaborations across academia and industry. It will provide a platform for discussing both fundamental developments in systems and control and their applications to emerging technological and societal challenges.

Amsterdam offers an inspiring setting for this international gathering, combining a rich cultural heritage with excellent international connectivity. Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, one of Europe’s major international airports, provides direct connections to destinations around the world. The RAI Amsterdam Convention Centre, where the Congress will take place, is conveniently located approximately 10 minutes by train from Schiphol Airport and just a few minutes by metro from Amsterdam’s city centre. With excellent train, metro and tram connections, the venue is easily accessible to participants arriving from the Netherlands and abroad.
