Welcome to ADHS 2027
The IFAC conference series on Analysis and Design of Hybrid Systems (ADHS) focuses on the broad field of hybrid dynamic systems in all its aspects. Hybrid systems arise wherever continuous and discrete dynamics interact, as it is the case in many high-tech systems, where logic-based components, digital networks, and embedded controllers are combined with continuous physical processes. As systems become increasingly complex, hybrid systems theory and engineering are indispensable for their modeling, design, analysis, and security. The rise of paradigms as networked control systems and cyber-physical systems, along with widespread industry interest in digital twins, provides further impetus to this fascinating field of research, which can also leverage emerging tools in data driven approaches to verification and design, machine learning and, more broadly, in artificial intelligence. The conference is intended to be a meeting place for researchers from the scientific domains of control engineering, computer science and applied mathematics, and for practitioners from several application domains, such as process industry, automotive, avionics, communication networks, energy systems, transportation networks, embedded systems, manufacturing, autonomous systems and robotics, biology and other sciences. The previous ADHS were held in Saint-Malo, France (2003), Alghero, Italy (2006), Zaragoza, Spain (2009), Eindhoven, The Netherlands (2012), Atlanta, GA, USA (2015), Oxford, UK (2018), in Brussels, Belgium (2021), and Boulder, Colorado, USA (2024). They have all been sponsored by IFAC.
