April 2022 Call

The IFAC Activity Fund's April 2022 Call highlights sponsored projects such as "inControl," the first podcast dedicated to control theory. The initiative aims to reach new audiences, discuss control-theoretic research with experts and the public, highlight real-world applications, and expand the field's presence across major social media platforms.

‘in Control’ – the first podcast on control theory

The goal of this project is to develop the first podcast on control theory, which will be called “inControl”. The project is guided by the following broad objectives: (i) to attract new audiences to control theory, unconstrained by the format demands of traditional media; (ii) to create an environment where to discuss control-theoretic research with both experts and outsiders; (iii) to raise awareness on the role of control theory and its applications for society as a whole; (iv) to increase social media presence of control theory on major social media platforms.
