This Technical Committee considers all aspects of computerized and telecommunication-based automation systems, providing services to remote equipment. This addresses systems integrating methods of remote control and cooperative communication for remote applications.
The TC 3.2 “Computational Intelligence in Control” groups major methodologies including fuzzy, neural, linguistic, fuzzy-neural, evolutionary, and reinforcement learning approaches as related and applied to automatic control.
The goal of the technical committee on Computers for Control is to coordinate and promote technical activities related to computer & control synergies. It focuses on new system architectures (Software- and Hardware) and model-based engineering methods for automation systems.
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to serve IFAC Technical Committee 3.3 – Telematics: Control via Communication Networks. This committee focuses on systems integrating remote control and communication technologies for applications such as telemedicine, tele-operation, remote automation, and cyber-physical systems.
Welcome message from the Chair of IFAC Technical Committee 3.2 on Computational Intelligence in Control, introducing the committee's work in computational intelligence, neural systems, fuzzy systems, and evolutionary algorithms.
Welcome message from Mike Barth, Chair of IFAC Technical Committee 3.1 on Computers for Control, highlighting the committee's work on embedded and cyber-physical systems, automation, and emerging technologies.
