Focuses on manufacturing and other related systems characterized by a large number of variables, nonlinearities, uncertainties, and/or a networked structure composed of a number of interconnected subsystems.
Within this context, this TC's scope is to identify theoretically sound and practically viable techniques for the enterprise Internet-based collaboration, enterprise networking, and modelling languages to support the Sensing & Sustainable Enterprise.
The activities of the Manufacturing Modelling for Management and Control Technical Committee promote the development of management decision-support systems in digital, resilient, and sustainable manufacturing and supply chain systems in the era of Industry 4.0, based on a combination of Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, and Data Science.
The study scope is moving towards the implementation of Industry 4.0 principles in manufacturing systems while looking at Industry 4.0-based characteristics that lead to build the future smart factories. This scope is motivated in the welcome page of this TC.
Large-scale complex systems are characterized by a large number of variables, nonlinearities, and uncertainties. IFAC Technical Committee 5.4 focuses on control and decision support systems for large-scale complex systems and their applications.
Welcome to the IFAC Technical Committee on Integration and Interoperability of Enterprise Systems. The committee focuses on enterprise systems integration and interoperability, model-driven enterprise engineering, and digital transformation technologies including smart manufacturing, Industry 4.0, and the Industrial Internet.
The activities of IFAC Technical Committee 5.2 on Management and Control in Manufacturing and Logistics focus on management decision-support systems for digital, resilient, and sustainable manufacturing and supply chain systems in the era of Industry 4.0.
Welcome to the homepage of IFAC Technical Committee on Manufacturing Plant Control. The committee focuses on manufacturing plant control, smart manufacturing systems, advanced automation, digitalization, and the factories of the future.
