    The Organizing Committee welcomes the global control community to the largest IFAC World Congress to date, with more than 4,000 participants, over 4,200 submissions, and more than 3,000 technical papers accepted. The Congress also marks a milestone in inclusion, with support enabling 93 young and underrepresented researchers to attend.
  • President’s Column
    Dong-Il “Dan” Cho reflects on his three-year term, highlighting IFAC’s modernization, broader participation and inclusion, and strengthened scholarly activities, culminating in the largest World Congress to date in Busan.
  • IFAC Distinguished Lecturer Report
    Bruno Siciliano and Hideaki Ishii visited Bali Island, Indonesia, as IFAC Distinguished Lecturers and delivered their plenary talks at the 15th Asian Control Conference (ASCC 2026).
  • IFAC Activity Fund Report
    The project “Developing children’s tridimensional ordinality through control systems and robots” introduced science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) concepts to primary school students through two interactive activities.
  • IFAC Conference Report (BIKA 2025)
    The 2025 IFAC Workshop on Blockchain Intelligence and Knowledge Automation (BIKA 2025) was held on November 8-9, in Macau, China.
  • IFAC Foundation Awards
    The Kwon Award and Diversity & Inclusion Award recipients are presented, alongside the purpose and funding behind these awards.
  • IFAC Affiliates Portal statistics
    As of July 13, 2026, the IFAC Affiliates Portal includes 7,793 approved affiliates across 113 countries and regions, reflecting the broad reach of the IFAC community. Ahead of the General Assembly in Busan, the affiliate statistics highlight engagement through Portal connections, roles in IFAC activities, and publicly available profiles, while respecting affiliates’ privacy choices.
