    Dr. Christine Maul is the New Chair of the VDI/VDE Society for Measurement and Automation Technologies (the German IFAC NMO).   • Transition: Huibert Kwakernaak (NL)
    We are moved by the sad news that recently Professor Huibert Kwakernaak (Huib) passed away at the age of 87 years.
  • IFAC Activity Fund Report
    In October 2024, the inaugural Latin American Meeting of Women in Control Engineering took place, bringing together over 40 women—students and professionals—from Colombia, Brazil, Mexico, Chile, Argentina, and Peru.
  • IFAC Executive Officer’s Meeting
    The annual IFAC Executive Officers meeting took place in April 2025 in Vienna, Austria. As always, it was accompanied by a technical lecture, which this year was given by Dr. Dimitri Peaucelle (FR, LAAS-Toulouse).
